GetGenie Review (AI for Content Creation and SEO?)

As a content creator, I’m always on the lookout for tools that can help streamline my work process and improve the quality of my content. Recently, I came across GetGenie, an AI assistant for content and SEO that claims to replace 10+ apps with its AI magic and a simple WordPress plugin. 

With four pricing plans to choose from – Free, Writer, Pro, and Agency – GetGenie seems to cater to a wide range of users, including copywriters, bloggers, and small business owners. 

In this review, I’ll be sharing my personal experience using GetGenie and discussing its features, pros, and cons.

How does GetGenie work?

Getting started with GetGenie is quite simple. All you need to do is download the plugin from the WordPress plugins repository and activate it on your website. Once activated, you’ll find a button labeled “Write For Me” inside your posts. 

Clicking on this button launches the GetGenie interface, which offers various templates for generating titles, writing definitions, creating bullet point answers, outlining feature benefits, crafting feature snippets, and more. 

GetGenie also helps with SEO by analyzing search volume, competitiveness, and CPC, suggesting related keywords, and providing insights on keyword search trends and competitor performance.

My GetGenie Experience

I tested GetGenie on my personal blog, focusing on various aspects like relevance, grammar, and nuances. I chose the “Blog Wizard” template, which prompted me to enter keywords and instructions for the AI. 

For this test, I used the keywords “vegan lifestyle,” “benefits,” and “challenges” and instructed the AI to write an informative and engaging article on the topic.

However, it was a step-by-step process and I generated a title and introduction. I was impressed by the title that GetGenie generated for my article ‘’The Rewards and Risks of the Vegan Lifestyle:  Exploring benefits and challenges’’. The title was not only catchy, but it also effectively incorporated my chosen keywords. 

After generating the title, I moved on to the introduction. GetGenie provided a well-structured and engaging opening paragraph that set the tone for the rest of the article.

Furthermore, you’ll also find a ‘’Keywords Analysis’’ button in GetGenie interface. Clicking on this helped me identify relevant keywords for my article on the vegan lifestyle. It provided a list of related keywords, along with their search volume, competitiveness, and CPC, which allowed me to optimize my content for SEO. This button also has ‘’Competitor Analysis’’ and ‘’Frequently Asked Questions’’ tabs.

Keywords Analysis features also offer Competitor Analysis that enabled me to gain insights into my competitors’ content strategies. I was able to see which topics they were covering, how they were ranking, and what keywords they were targeting. 

This information was invaluable in helping me create content that stood out from the competition.

Next, the Questions Asked feature in GetGenie allowed me to generate content that addressed common questions related to a vegan lifestyle. By addressing these questions, I was able to create a more informative and engaging article that appealed to my target audience.
